Password Policy

The Password Policy within the EdgeReady Platform is a critical security feature that defines the default standards for generating and managing passwords for a specific tenant. This screen outlines the various parameters and configurations available on the Password Policy screen in the Admin module. These settings ensure a robust and customizable security framework for user authentication.

For each tenant, the policy can be altered by the Tenant-Admin as per requirement. The password policy is a tenant level setting, applied to all users under it. The following parameters can be configured to enable a user to choose a password:

• Enforce Minimum Password Length
• Require at Least One Uppercase Letter
• Require at Least One Lowercase Letter
• Require at Least One Number
• Require at Least One Non-Alphanumeric Character
• Enable Password Expiration(default value is 90 days)
• Prevent Password Reuse
• Account Lockout Settings
• Show Warning Settings
